Oh Mac! How I’ve missed you.

It’s been agonizingly long. I had to use all of my strength and willpower to keep myself far away from my mac as possible for the past four days. No easy feat, but I have succeeded! The reason why I had to stay clear of my baby is because I knew the minute I had access to Internet connection, I would have scoured the Internet in search for CSI spoilers for the premier. I’m really glad I didn’t. I’ve never watched an episode with so much anticipation before.

Quite a bit has happened this week. Had my favourite macaroni soup from MG on Monday. Simply the best. After that, had dinner at Big O with Denise.

Then on Tuesday, Jacinth, Denise, Mel, Meryl, Jus and I stayed over at Meritus Mandarin for 2 days and 1 night. It was a blast! We walked around Orchard at 12am and again at 6 am in our PJs. I didn’t sleep for 37 and a half hours. First time in my life! We took lots of photos and ordered McDonalds, which came around 2:45am. Nothing in Orchard was open except Swensons. In the room, we played game of life and uno. We made a lot of noise. I was really worried that we were going to get thrown out, but luckily we didn’t. :c)

Wednesday was spent checking out of the hotel, eating Subway for branch and shopping with my mum.

Thursday was spent sleeping.

Friday and Saturday were spent going nuts waiting for my CSI episode. My family was clearly annoyed because everything that came out of my mouth revolved around the show. My sister threatened to slap me, my mum threatened to cut my allowance and my dad threatened to strangle me. And yet, I still didn’t shut up. God help me. Can you imagine what would happen to me if CSI stopped airing? I shudder to even think such a thought.

Channel 5 aired Million dollar baby last night. It’s one of my favourite films, but I would never ever cough out money to buy it. The ending is seriously depressing and my heart can’t take it. I remember crying when I watched it the first time in the theatre so I thought I could control my tears when I watched it last night. I was clearly wrong. I think A walk to remember and Million dollar baby are 2 films, which are sweet and touching, but downright sad. They never fail to make me cry.

Today, I FINALLY watched the season 8 premier! Yay! Thanks Mikey! Of course now I’m going to talk about it. So all those who don’t want to know what happens in CSI don’t scroll down. WARNING: SPOILER ALERT. (Jorja fox’s contract included)

SARA LIVES!! :c) YAY!!! It was a great episode! I loved it when she said “hello Gilbert”. That was such an AWWWWW moment. :c) I’m really glad that they showed flashbacks from the start of her abduction to her current state. The dead body was pretty redundant though. Being spoiler free totally rocks! I was really happy and contented with the episode until I went to the forums and read about Jorja fox’s contract. :c( I really shouldn’t have done that!

She’s leaving the show!!! Ai yo… “Sara will be making her exit in November.” So sad! :c( It’ll be interesting to see how she leaves the show though. But I still really hope she doesn’t even though it’s already confirmed. It’ll be quite weird. Sigh… This reminds me of the time they fired and rehired George Eads and her. When I found out, it almost killed me. I really hate it when original cast members leave their show. Like that lady in Criminal minds and those people in Hi 5 (not that I watch it). I really wonder how much was the raise.

“[E]very couple of years, people put in for a raise,” she said. “And a couple of years ago everybody put in for a raise, and I decided not to take the raise that was offered me. And If I had taken that raise, it would’ve added a year to my contract. I’m the only one who didn’t take the raise.” While Fox said that CSI has been a rewarding experience, she explained that, at the time this raise was offered, she was having doubts.

After the firing and re-hiring of herself and George Eads (Nick Stokes), she was not sure if she wanted to sign up for extra time on the show. “And the raise was terrible, to be frank,” she added. “An extra year for that amount of money? No thank you. Thank you very much, it’s very flattering, but no thank you.”

The following was taken from TV guide.

Sigh…

Pregnant Miserable Self Pitying Loser Pie

I’m really not in the mood so please forgive me for this pathetic blog entry. It really doesn’t do justice to what a lovely time I had today.

After months of waiting, I finally had my red bowl! :c)

Watched Waitress today. It was good. I felt that it was much better than No Reservations. Sorry Jacinth, but it’s true. Was wondering why the character Ogie looked so familiar hence I IMDBed him and found out that he had acted in Oceans 11, 12 and 13. No wonder! He acted in CSI too! Good for him! :c)

If I had a penny for everything I love about you, I would have many pennies.

Oh! Here’s your answer D. There’s greenish grey mould growing on my McFries!! So much for 10 weeks, all it took was 5 days. I’ll post photos tomorrow. No wait. Not tomorrow. I’ll be having my second sleepover this year. Yay! I’ll post them when I get back.

Baby don’t you cry
Gonna make a pie
Gonna make a pie with a heart in the middle

OMG!! 3 more days!!

Because of you

I love this video and this version of this song. Their voices compliment each other very well. Simply beautiful.

My heart can’t possibly break when it wasn’t even whole to start with (I absolutely love this line)

There’s McDreamy and McSteamy and of course, there’s McFries!

Morgan placed a Big Mac, a Chicken McGrill, a Fillet O Fish, a Quarter Pounder, a Packet of Mcfries, a regular burger and a regular packet of fries into seperate jars each. I think he wanted to see how long each item took to decompose. Well, after a whopping 10 weeks, everything was decomposing/decomposed except the McFries! “After 10 weeks the smell was so bad in Morgan’s office that he asked the intern to throw away” everything including the undecomposed Mcfries.

So after watching that short clip of supersize me, I’ve decided to do a little experiment on my own. I’ve decided to see how long the McFries in Singapore will take to start decomposing. I started yesterday and the McFries are currently outside my house in a container. I’ll just have to wait and see. :c)

Bob the builder. Can he fix it?

BOOM BOOM BOOM

BAM BAM BAM

No, these sounds aren’t from a comic book. They’re coming from two houses undergoing construction. Now where are these two houses located? You might be wondering. Well, let me tell you.

They are both freaking located on the left and right of MY house. Well technically, it’s my dad’s house but AHHHHHHHHHH! They start construction at 8:30 am everyday except sundays. Luckily for me, I’m a heavy sleeper so I hear nothing and therefore I can sleep all the way til 1pm. My dad believes strongly that if the house were to collapse on me, I’d still be asleep. I assure you it’s NOT true. He’s just talking gibberish.

When I’m awake I feel as if I’m at a war zone surrounded by heavy machinery. Just today, I looked out of my living room window and saw a huge crane and was instantly reminded of Homer Simpson and the bulldozer. I couldn’t help but wonder what would happen to me if I were the one controlling that crane.

I think the noise is seriously affecting my hearing. Before all the BOOMING and BAMMING, I could hear just perfectly. Now, I have to get people to repeat their sentences before I can make up what they’re trying to tell me. :c( This just makes me want to move out and get my own apartment a lot quicker. God knows how long before I go completely deaf. I wish they would hurry.

Got back results today and I’m contented. I shall leave it at that. Just going to step up my game for next sem.

Watched a season 2 episode of CSI titled Burden of proof today.

GRISSOM: (awkwardly on phone) Yeah, hi. I-I-I’d like to get some flowers for a
girl. No, no. Not flowers. A plant. A living plant. She likes vegetation.

This made me laugh SO hard! It’s so Grissom. :c) He ordered it for Sara! :c)

13 more days!!

So we keep waiting
Waiting for the show to start
We keep on waiting

One day I’ll fly away, leave all this to yesterday

I know it’s not much
But it’s the best I can do
My gift is my song
And this one’s for you

Just came back from the airport about 10 minutes ago. Went there with my dad and grams to pick up my uncle and JP. I love the airport as well as the car rides to it. Car rides are fun! Plus the long journey to the airport gives me time to think about stuff. I love the fact that the airport smells like air con, luggage bags and planes all mixed into a wonderful concoction of a certain type of fragrance. It really is a lovely smell.

Before the trip to the airport, I was out with Hannah, Jacinth, Denise and Vanny. We watched no reservations. It wasn’t great and it wasn’t terrible so I guess it’s somewhere in the middle. Catherine Zeta Jones was gorgeous as usual. After the movie, we ate dinner at Swensons and then we sat outside PS and had an extremely pleasant chit chat session. I love my friends. I’m glad to know that I have people to turn too when I need a listening ear. :c) See you guys next week!

This reminds me, all those getting back their results later today, all the best! :c)

14 more days to the premier of CSI season 8. Two more weeks and then I’ll know if Sara lives or not!!

Do you know how to touch a girl?
If you want me so much
I just had to know
Are you thoughtful and kind?
Do you care what’s on my mind?
Or am I just for show?
You’ll go far in this world if you know
How to touch a girl.

I HATE cliff-hangers!

The last 15 minutes of criminal minds were pretty scary today. It made me drop my watermelon twice. :c(

Oh, my poor heart.

And of course the episode had to end with a CLIFF-HANGER! Damn! Just like how the last episode of CSI ended. Pfft.

Anyway, on a lighter note, 15 more days to the new season! YAY! Oh! And the emmys are coming too. But on second thought, I don’t really like the emmys cause the people i want to win hardly win or never get nominated. To this day, I’m still pissed at the fact that George Eads didn’t even get a nomination for his acting in grave danger. I swear that was like the performance of his career.

I know! I shall type out the names of the actors/actresses/shows who/which i want to win for each category. And when the results are announced, i can see how many i got right. Just in case you’re wondering, I do have a life. With that said, my list begins…

Outstanding Comedy Series
Without question, Ugly Betty.

Outstanding Drama Series
GREY’S ANATOMY!!! For all the McReasons. :c)

Outstanding Made for Television Movie
I’m going to make a guess for this. Hmm… I pick why I wore lipstick to my mastectomy. Sounds interesting even though i’ve never heard of it.

Outstanding Miniseries
Prime suspect! Another guess.

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series
Tony Shalhoub! I love Monk.

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series
Hugh Laurie. Though I prefer Grey’s to House.

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie
OMG! Defintely, Matthew Perry! He’s really funny plus his character was my favourite in F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series
I want Felicity Huffman to win, but i know America Ferrera’s gonna claim this one.

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series
Mariska Hargitay cause she’s the only actress I know in this category.

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie
Queen Latifah!! Love her! But i think Helen Mirren’s going to walk away with this one.

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series
Jon Cryer. I like him in two and a half men.

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series
This one is tough! Michael Emerson, T.R. Knight, Masi Oka and Terry O’Quinn. I really like all four, but i’m keeping my fingers crossed for Michael Emerson. He acts brilliantly as Ben in LOST.

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie
I’m going to skip this cause i have no idea who all these people are.

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series
Oh, Vanessa Williams! I love her in Ugly Betty! I hope she wins.

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series
Ah!! This one’s tough too!! Katherine Heigl, Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson!! How to choose?!! I think i’ll go with Chandra Wilson, the Nazi! No no no no. Sandra Oh!! She’s cool. Ai yo! I can’t decide. I guess I’ll be happy if anyone out of the three win.

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie
I’m skipping this as well.

Outstanding Variety, Music Or Comedy Series
Late Night with Conan O’Brien! Love Conan, love his hair.

Outstanding Reality Competition Program
I hope American Idol wins. They never do! It’s always the amazing race!

Outstanding Reality Program
Kathy Griffin!! She’s funny!

Outstanding Animated Program
THE SIMPSONS!! :c)

All done! Phew, that was tough work. All this listing has made me hungry. I’m off to cook something.
