It’s been agonizingly long. I had to use all of my strength and willpower to keep myself far away from my mac as possible for the past four days. No easy feat, but I have succeeded! The reason why I had to stay clear of my baby is because I knew the minute I had access to Internet connection, I would have scoured the Internet in search for CSI spoilers for the premier. I’m really glad I didn’t. I’ve never watched an episode with so much anticipation before.
Quite a bit has happened this week. Had my favourite macaroni soup from MG on Monday. Simply the best. After that, had dinner at Big O with Denise.
Then on Tuesday, Jacinth, Denise, Mel, Meryl, Jus and I stayed over at Meritus Mandarin for 2 days and 1 night. It was a blast! We walked around Orchard at 12am and again at 6 am in our PJs. I didn’t sleep for 37 and a half hours. First time in my life! We took lots of photos and ordered McDonalds, which came around 2:45am. Nothing in Orchard was open except Swensons. In the room, we played game of life and uno. We made a lot of noise. I was really worried that we were going to get thrown out, but luckily we didn’t. :c)
Wednesday was spent checking out of the hotel, eating Subway for branch and shopping with my mum.
Thursday was spent sleeping.
Friday and Saturday were spent going nuts waiting for my CSI episode. My family was clearly annoyed because everything that came out of my mouth revolved around the show. My sister threatened to slap me, my mum threatened to cut my allowance and my dad threatened to strangle me. And yet, I still didn’t shut up. God help me. Can you imagine what would happen to me if CSI stopped airing? I shudder to even think such a thought.
Channel 5 aired Million dollar baby last night. It’s one of my favourite films, but I would never ever cough out money to buy it. The ending is seriously depressing and my heart can’t take it. I remember crying when I watched it the first time in the theatre so I thought I could control my tears when I watched it last night. I was clearly wrong. I think A walk to remember and Million dollar baby are 2 films, which are sweet and touching, but downright sad. They never fail to make me cry.
Today, I FINALLY watched the season 8 premier! Yay! Thanks Mikey! Of course now I’m going to talk about it. So all those who don’t want to know what happens in CSI don’t scroll down. WARNING: SPOILER ALERT. (Jorja fox’s contract included)

SARA LIVES!! :c) YAY!!! It was a great episode! I loved it when she said “hello Gilbert”. That was such an AWWWWW moment. :c) I’m really glad that they showed flashbacks from the start of her abduction to her current state. The dead body was pretty redundant though. Being spoiler free totally rocks! I was really happy and contented with the episode until I went to the forums and read about Jorja fox’s contract. :c( I really shouldn’t have done that!
She’s leaving the show!!! Ai yo… “Sara will be making her exit in November.” So sad! :c( It’ll be interesting to see how she leaves the show though. But I still really hope she doesn’t even though it’s already confirmed. It’ll be quite weird. Sigh… This reminds me of the time they fired and rehired George Eads and her. When I found out, it almost killed me. I really hate it when original cast members leave their show. Like that lady in Criminal minds and those people in Hi 5 (not that I watch it). I really wonder how much was the raise.
“[E]very couple of years, people put in for a raise,” she said. “And a couple of years ago everybody put in for a raise, and I decided not to take the raise that was offered me. And If I had taken that raise, it would’ve added a year to my contract. I’m the only one who didn’t take the raise.” While Fox said that CSI has been a rewarding experience, she explained that, at the time this raise was offered, she was having doubts.
After the firing and re-hiring of herself and George Eads (Nick Stokes), she was not sure if she wanted to sign up for extra time on the show. “And the raise was terrible, to be frank,” she added. “An extra year for that amount of money? No thank you. Thank you very much, it’s very flattering, but no thank you.”

Sigh…
