2 More Hours!!!

And I hate the damn chairs! They make creaky noises and they prevent my feet from touching the ground! Ugh…

Hurry 6pm! Come quickly! I am begging! :c(

I hate Mondays.

I swear Lt 24 is the place where time stands still.

3 1/2 hours more and then home sweet home.

Time goes by so slowly.

I’m so BORED!! :c(

I realised I have quite a number of things to do by Monday.

1. Audio proposal
2. SocPsy Journal

I just found out that I have a SocPsy quiz tomorrow so I’m basically screwed.

Camera test is on Thursday.

What else is there?

Oh yeah! CATS this wed is at Clementi. I love my teacher. He’s so funny! Think Hossan Leong.

I’m quite worried for audio because I have no idea what Chin Boo is saying right now. :c( He’s a really nice guy, but I just don’t have any interest in audio. Yes, I love music and everything, but I honestly don’t care what knobs you have to turn or buttons to press to achieve a great sound. I just like to listen to that sound. Oh no and this whole lecture is on the physics side of sound. I dropped physics for a reason…

Behind the scenes [CSI and Without a trace]

I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again. I can’t wait for this episode! Oh and I would so kill to work behind the scenes for CSI.

One more thing, I really love George Eads and I know I don’t say it enough. Sorry George.

Grissom: I learnt that sometimes you can go faster by going slow.
Jack: Well, I like to go faster by going fast.

Grissom: What’s wrong with my office?

Ps: I think I’m going to password protect all my CSI posts from now on. Password will be entomology. Haha! How original! ;c)

Here it is…

Again, I apologize for taking so long to update about the trip. Procrastination, it’s all your fault!

Let me see, where should I begin? Hmmm… Ah ok! I met Valentino Rossi! He sat on the same plane as me. Well, at first I had absolutely no bloody idea who the hell he was. My father was the one who pointed him out to me and then proceeded to give me a 10 minute lesson on Valentino Rossi. So that was how I found out that Valentino is actually a motor cross racer and not the famous fashion designer. My dad was so excited cause he loves motor cross racing and all that jazz so when we were at the conveyor belts waiting for our luggage, he went round and round searching for his motor cross idol. And here’s the result…

A beaming fan and a motor cross racer.

I swear my mum and dad were the only ones at the conveyor belt who knew who he was. I was kind of upset that it wasn’t an actor or at least someone more famous. Oh well, this reminds me of the time when I met the entire England rugby team and had no idea who anyone was. Yet my sister and I went round asking for their autographs. Haha! It was so funny! We even took a photo with one of the players and until today I still don’t know his name. I just hope it wasn’t a fan wearing a Jersey. Oops! I digress.

We reached Melbourne at 5 something in the morning. What an unearthly hour! Plus I didn’t get any sleep on the plane. We left our luggage at the lobby cause it was too early to check into the hotel. Then we walked to Victoria Market.

They have all sorts of things over there. From food to clothes to accessories.

fruits-and-nuts.jpg

And even though I was a walking zombie, I managed to buy loads of stuff. It must be the power of shopping. We had lunch before heading back to the hotel. Unable to open my eyes anymore, I fell asleep. Oh! Before I continue, let me just tell you how bad my luck is. This is for all you sadistic people out there in need of a laugh.

Bad luck number 1: I dropped my glasses on the floor of the plane and a Stewardess stepped on it, breaking it into 2 pieces! I didn’t even know I dropped my glasses. The lady sitting beside me on the other side of the aisle picked it up for me.

Bad luck number 2: My monthly friend came!!!! Ughhhh… could things get any worse? Well, if you’re me, of course it can.

Bad luck number 3: It was raining in Melbourne. Before I fell asleep, Charis called me to talk. She told me that it never rains in Melbourne so I looked out of my hotel window and guess what I saw? RAINDROPS! Ai yo…

I find it amazing that I managed to sleep peacefully without any nightmares. I woke up at 5pm and went down to meet Yihui and Grace. I felt so much better after the nap. Since it was still early and I wanted to see Grace’s apartment and Yihui’s hostel we walked all the way from Arrow on Swanston to Palmerston house! Oh My Jellybeans! It was so terribly far!

After god knows how many minutes of walking, we finally reached. Saw all their rooms, which really is the epitome of messy! Haha! And I thought my room was bad. You gals win hands down. Should have brought my camera with me, but I couldn’t be bothered to. It was too heavy.

Charis, Audrey, Yihui and I went to Michelino’s to eat dinner. Sher joined us for a while before heading back to Starbucks. I ordered baked oysters and a tropical pizza. They were excellent especially the oysters! Oh and I met the nicest and sweetest waiter! I don’t know his name, but I’m going to call him Jason cause he looks like a Jason. He gave us this pizza like thing covered with mozzarella cheese and said it was on the house. He looks a bit like Chris Richardson from American Idol. He was a really pleasant guy and the best part he wasn’t racist. :c) After dinner, we headed down to Di Martina’s to eat dessert. It was pure bliss! I really regret not taking the camera with me.

Oh yeah! Something happened along the way to Martina’s, but I don’t feel like typing it. Let’s just say it involved 2 white guys “stealing” my pizza. It was a shocking experience for me.

So anyway, when the dessert had settled comfortably in our tummies, the three of them walked me back to the hotel before going back to the hostel. We were contemplating on taking a cab cause it was freezing and it was drizzling. In the end, we didn’t cause cab rides in Melbourne are expensive. Apparently, the fare jumps every 3 seconds.

So here’s what I did in Melbourne on the first day. It was damn fun chilling out with the gals in a different country. One more thing to add, I swear Yihui has the best sense of direction ever.
Friday was spent shopping! Yay! We had lunch on the Tram restaurant, which was cool. We had to book a place in advance cause there was limited seating and the lunch was a 2 hour long journey. The waiters on board were nice too. Jo the waiter was freaking hilarious! He has a really nice operatic voice too. Food on board was lovely and I really loved the champagne.

After lunch, we went to Crown and just for a moment, I felt as if I was in Vegas.

We shopped some more before buying back takeaway to eat back at the hotel. On the way back to the hotel, my sister and I ran into Grace at the traffic light. :c) The world sure is a small place.

Saturday was spent at the wildlife park and Sovereign Hill.

This is Sovereign Hill. It kind of looks like a Hollywood set of an old western film doesn’t it? The first 30 minutes were pretty cool and then it got boring. Oh and people are actually paid to dress up like this…

and this…

red-soldier-marching.jpg

The Wildlife park was awesome. Met a whole bunch of the tamest kangaroos I have ever seen. They were simply adorable. The emus on the otherhand, were evil.

Meet Joey. He’s my favourite and he’s actually a lot bigger in real life.

There were other animals as well, but I’m just too lazy to upload the rest of my photos. 800 something mind you.

Alright, I guess this concludes my trip. :c) I want to go back next year and spend more time with the trinity gang. Melbourne rocks!

The trip will be on the blog tomorrow.

Today was a good day. :c)

Oh no!

I’m so far behind in blogging! :c(

Things to blog about…
1. Melbourne
2. CSI 8X04 The case of the cross dressing carp (I freaking loved this episode)
3. School life and how English is such a “bastard-ized language”
4. Random stuff that’s been happening in my life

I really should stop procrastinating cause if I don’t, this list is going to grow to the length of Bo Bice’s hair. Sigh…

Alright, I have decided to blog about Melbourne by this weekend! I’m really sorry to those of you who’ve been waiting for me to update about my trip. Just give me a few more days. I promise it’ll be up by this week.

Ughhh!!! Channel 5 is airing CSI Miami at 10 tonight! Why can’t they air CSI season 7!!?? At least I have Criminal Minds to look forward to.

I think I’m losing my blogging mojo. I don’t feel like blogging anymore. Goodbye.
