I’ve always had this fantasy that Pierce Brosnan had a really wonderful singing voice, but today, this fantasy went straight to hell.

What happened to the holding open of doors? What happened to helping the ladies get seated first? More importantly, what happened to romance?

Jon says that it’s because of women, chivalry’s dead. I hate to say it, but I tend to agree to a certain extent. Shan and I agree that it’s probably due to the whole feminist approach. There has to be a limit for that. I’m all for women and men having equal opportunities and equal treatment. But what ticks me of is when an ungrateful woman says, “I can do it myself” to a man who has just helped her to her seat. It’s women like them who spoil it for women like us.

Then again, the other sex is at fault as well. Is it me or are most men just egoistic MCPs? I’m not saying all men are like that, it’s just the majority of men. It’s quite hard to find guys nowadays who don’t have the “ego” attached to them. It’s like get a man and have the ego for free. You can’t have one without the other. Sigh… Where have all the Leopolds gone? I’d like to believe that there are a handful of them still out there. Single, unmarried and straight.

BTW, first episode of the new season of House was awesome. It was 13 centric so that was cool. So long as it’s not a Cameron centric episode, I’m a happy duckling. There’s just something about her that drives me crazy with annoyance. The case was interesting. I like the part about the whole maybe baby she bang. Yes, pun was intended.

House had some kickass lines! Last scene of the episode was bittersweet. Scenes with House/Cuddy/Wilson can never go wrong. Amazing actors! I don’t think I’ll ever forget the scene with Wilson and Amber in Wilson’s heart. My god! That was so damn emotional! It was perfect! One of my favourite TV moments.

Next week’s episode has the girl from Dr Horrible in it. Can’t wait to see what House does next. The more idiotic he is, the more I like him!

Oh my gosh! Hugh Laurie is sooooo freaking sweet! And his accent is mama mia! Annnd the both of them are so utterly adorable! There were videos of the other cast, but since I only care about Hugh Laurie, Lisa Edelstein and Robert Sean Leonard, I couldn’t be bothered to post up the rest. Kinda sad that Robert didn’t get interviewed.
