I believe whatever doesn’t kill you simply makes you… stranger.

1.In my Secondary school; Methodist Girls’ School (MGS), they were always very particular about discipline. Our disciplinary mistresses would have prefects stationed on every level of the staircase to book students for their wrong doings. I’ll never forget the bad luck I had to deal with that fateful Monday morning. I was fifteen minutes late for school and when I walked into the compound, I was immediately booked for my late coming. I raced up the stairs and was booked again for my ankle socks. Ankle socks are not allowed in MGS. I couldn’t believe my luck when I was booked for the third time when I reached the floor of my class. I was booked for my missing school badge. It was just a horrible start to the week.

2.When I was in Primary six, I went over to my best friend’s house to complete a project. She had a really small, but ferocious dog. As a result, the dog had to be kept out in the backyard. After finishing the project I accompanied her to the kitchen to have lunch. The maid didn’t realize I was in the kitchen and she opened the back door. Suddenly, that scary dog ran into the kitchen and started chasing me around the table. The chasing only stopped when the dumb dog bit my thigh. The maid came and yanked him off of me. I didn’t get any puncture marks from the bite, but I was left with a big fat ugly bruise.
